BAUGH, Danny
Pokers 17u Navy Coach

Daniel was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. Daniel graduated from Bolton High School in 2002. It is here where he realized that coaching is something that he wanted to make a living doing. During his summers Daniel played with the Dulins Dodgers (TN) and worked as a volunteer in numerous baseball camps. Daniel as a junior in high school earned all district honors, all county honors, all state 2nd team, and helped lead his team to a regional championship. He finished the year with a .000 ERA 7-0 record with 10 saves. He followed up his Junior year with a 6-2 record with 6 saves and a 1.32 ERA. He received all district, all county, all region awards.

He then signed with Southwest Tennessee Community College and played one year where he went 4-1 with a 2.06 ERA. Daniel decided to transfer after one season. After his verbal commitment got dropped due to a coaching change at the University of Memphis, with time running out he settled to sign with small NAIA school Lambuth University. It was his plan to play one year and then transfer back to the University of Memphis. He ended up staying and played one year with Lambuth before having full reconstructive surgery on his shoulder. The injury forced him to sit out a year, and eventually was the reason he decided to get into coaching.

After surgery Daniel played three more seasons with Lambuth and played in the Kentucky Illinois Tennessee (K.I.T.) League for two years with the Fulton Railroaders, and realized that he needed to start his life and decided to put the degree he earned from Lambuth University in to effect.

Daniel is currently the Head baseball Coach at McArthur HS in Hollywood, FL.. Daniel and his girlfriend reside in Broward, FL
